A browser extension for Mastodon, which finds and displays pronouns on posts in the timeline.
ProToots
Inspired by ProPlates (a VRChat mod, which displayed a player's pronouns below their nameplate), ProToots is a browser extension for Mastodon and Mastodon forks, which displays user's pronouns (if given) next to their display name in the timeline.
It does this by searching the user's profile for different variations of pronoun declaration i.e as a seperate field, in the bio as pronouns: x/y/z, or even just the classic pronoun format she/her.
The found pronouns are also cached for 24h to reduce API requests and load times.
