Hyper Light Drifter is a lovely and difficult game, cloaking its world in wordless mystery. I recommend enjoying it with a friend :3

I picked up Hyper Light Drifter ages ago, I don't remember when or how exactly. But what I do remember is having a good time until getting stuck on a particularly hard boss and putting the game down after dying to him one too many times.
Since then I've played Heart Machine's second game - Solar Ash - and had a great time, I wanted to give Hyper Light Drifter another try.
Because i last played it in... 2017 or something - jesus - C and I started a new save and got drifting ^^
I had a great time finding all the hidden passages, dodging deadly donogooders that was horribly forced, sorry, and piecing together the mysteries of this world.
I did briefly get stuck on the very same boss that had stopped my first playthrough, but luckily I had C watching along, who showed me that I could actually access the eastern area, which turned out to have a much easier boss (at least if you accidentally find a cheese for it hehehe >:3).
After that it was relatively smooth sailing, slashing my sword, and subdueing the sinister forces all the way to the credits.

If you're up for some though Melee combat, lots of little secrets and and impeccable vibe I can recommend Hyper Light Drifter to you - maybe just go to the East as your second destination.

oki baibai :3
